Party Like a Classical Music Star?

After reading a recent article in the New York Times about "rockism," the elevation of rock music above all other genres, I started to think. Why does everyone want to party like a rock star (groupies, hotel destruction)? What's so great about hotel destruction anyway? Wouldn't it be just as fun, if not more fun, to party like a rap star (champagne, booty)? A country star (Budweiser, apple pie)? A bluegrass star (moonshine, whittling)? A reaggae star (buds, beef patties)? An R&B star (wine coolers, backrubs)? These all sound good to me. It's time to broaden our party aspirations.
