My good friend and comedy partner Erzsi Pongo was just featured local NYC Fox News. She was abused, arrested, and incarcerated overnight in handcuffs by the cops for draping her legs over the corner of subway seat and not carrying legal identification. She was taking the subway home early in the morning when police entered her subway car and arrested her and a gaggle of sleeping homeless guys. Finally, hours later, she was released from her cell with a court date. I’m glad Erzsi is getting some media on this, because we need to shed light on this type of wretched police behavior and the politicians who enable it. Read more about her ordeal here.
