Jonny Goldstein PowerSuit Presentation

February 1st, 2007 · 3 Comments

This is footage of my Thesis presentation at ITP, where I demonstrated the PowerSuit, a set of technology embedded coveralls that allowed me to speak with beings from the future, by means of pressing and prodding different areas of the costume. This also features my narrated PowerPoint presentation in which I explain the genesis of the project.

Videography by Todd Holoubek.

That is genius. Part thesis presentation, part fringe comedy show! I loved hearing the crowd reactions, too. This would go down well at the Edinburgh Fringe if you get it all going with video. Particularly if you let people in the audience add their own media and then get up and rub their hands all over you to play you!

Thanks Rupert! It was fun going through my videos and finding this one. The suit is on hiatus right now, but it may come back some day.
