Wow. I’m just getting back to going to comedy open mics now that I’m down here in DC. This one I went to was just painful. The youthful emcee gave people the most negative intros, then he lost the set list, so no one knew when they were up, then for his, and his co-emcee’s sets, they just flailed around, totally unprepared. I enjoyed it nonetheless, some of the comics were great, and it was fun watching the trainwreck emcees running off the rails in a sick kind of way. I got some laughs for my new joke about Microsoft’s plan to venture into robotics, so that was cool. Guess ya had to be there. OK, off to sleep.
Worst open mic ever still was fun
