I am thrilled by the concept of Mogulus.com, a web service which lets anyone set up their online video channel that lets you loop sequences of videos from the web and from your computer, including live video. Sounds great. But they aren’t there yet, at least not for me.
I applied for an account (they took a few days to accept my application)
Then I tried to set up my channel. At multiple phases in the setup, my browser crashed. I tried Safari and FireFox. I’m using wireless in my home. Maybe I need to plug right into the wall. Oh well. I’ll keep working on it, and I hope they do too.

I’d guess this is the case for 10-15% of those I’ve spoken to. Requiring the very latest Flash 9 plugin also limits the audience since penetration of this version is a lot lower than 7 or 8.
One caveat: if you do not have a camera connected, make sure you refuse the Flash request to access or that may freeze the browser.

yeah we have problems as well, despite we have the last flash 9 now it’s impossible to access to the studio (the button doesn’t work either with firefox, explorer or safari)
no answer from mogulus team in more than a week, and when it worked it kept crashing the whole time, too heavy!

paolo…i have the same problem…i cant log into my mogulus account because the buttons dont respond to anything after a video upload crash. the best thing to do…without reinstalling and/or uninstalling everything is creating a new user account on your computer (not with mogulus) if you have a pc and access mogulus that way….everything works for me when i do that.
mogulus ignored my request for help too. good luck

I had problems when setting up for a conference we had promised to broadcast live and had to quickly set up an account at U Stream - which worked. I prefer the look and facilities of Mogulus but if they don’t sort us all out fast they won’t have any customers left!
