I was just tagged by Jim Long to share 8 random things about myself so here goes:
1. I grew up in Eugene, Oregon. Go Ducks! I don’t really follow the Ducks these days, but I still like the name.
2. I worked as a whitewater raft guide on the Arkansas River in Colorado, and the Upper Gauley River in West Virginia.
3. I was once a substitute teacher in the New York City school system. Guiding a raft down whitewater was easier.
4. My bar mitzvah torah portion was about lepers.
5. I am an atheist.
6. My brother lives in Germany, my mom lives in Mexico, and my dad lives in the high desert of Central Oregon.
7. I can click my tongue really loud.
8. My comedy partner officiated my wedding ceremony.

My Bar Mitzvah reading was about you reading about lepers. It was an unyet-written portion of the Torah.
