For too long, Television has ruled politics. But there’s a new kid on the block, online video, and that kid is shaking up the neighborhood.
With YouTube videos like the famous “Macaca Moment” that sunk Senator Allen;
and the Bomb Iran Video that helped deflate McCain’s candidacy;
the online video gotcha police are already impacting politics.
Join European videoblogger Raymond Kristiansen to probe the future of online video and politics. Raymond works works in the realm of online video and web 2.0 for the Danish Liberal Democratic Party. He will soon be kicking off a new site which will look at the intersection of civil society and the internet.
We first met in January 2005 when he flew from Norway to attend the first Vloggercon in New York City. Raymond is a one of a kind. At turns, earnest, funny, and idealistic. Join us as we throw politics and online video into the grinder to come up with the media politico sausage of tomorrow. Mmmmm….tasty.
