Whew. It’s been a crazy few weeks here at Par-tay headquarters. First my Mac imploded and had to be sent back to Apple. Fine. But it’s 3 weeks later and I still haven’t gotten it back. They are still waiting for a part. Egads.
Next, the service I’ve been using to make my shows, Operator11, imploded, going offline for a week. I improvised, using blogtv.com.
I had some fantastic guests—Gerry T, Lux Nightmare, “New Media” Jim Long, Loic Le Meur, and Stephen Stokols.
Scott Stead, a CNN guy by day, has started helping me with the show. Scott, who I met through DC Media Makers, is an awesome mix of smarts, talent, and experience.
I have started keeping a talkshow (and life) audio journal using Utterz which lets me record audio for the web with my phone.
I got some great advice from Jeff Pulver recently. He told me to take myself seriously and take my show seriously. It’s not easy to create a good Par-tay, but it’s fun. Thanks to everyone who is helping me make it happen.
