What I like about this pancake is how instead of just being a circle with an equal degree of curvature along it’s 365 angles, it sort of dips in at a more extreme angle toward the top of the photo, and then surprisingly juts back upward at a similar angle, and then continues the standard circle gradation, but then gets sharper as it heads toward the bottom of the pancake, comes to a sudden abrupt point (!) and then zips back upward on the other side in a craggy fashion as roughly alluring as, well, Daniel Craig. In short, it’s circular form is interpreted through the modern lens of uncertainty but redeeming hope in the world, creating something quite unexpected, and that’s pretty cool. Did your wife enjoy it? Did it have chocolate chips?

PS-Sometimes melancholy clothes on the outside mean subtle joy on the inside.

Sarah, I did enjoy the deconstructed circle of fried wheat-flour-egg-soymilk creation that Jonny made. It was without chocolate chips. It’s simplicity was a statement of what are the important things in life -that when you get down to it, it is the basics that throughout time has sustained us as a human culture.
:)
However, we did decide to dress it up with some yummy plum jam- the batter was without sugar and we had no syrup.

Watz sup wit pancakes? Did they make a comeback and I wasn’t paying attention. I’m more of a french toast with whole grain bread to clean up the colon kind of guy.
