Thanks everyone who helped celebrate my birthday. It was one of my most amazing ever. The coolest thing about it for me was the outpouring of creativity that came from the folks who were moved to make art in celebration of the day. To check out the archive of the Par-tay, go here.

Really, there are two things I love doing: being creative and encouraging other people to be creative. So this birthday was perfect.

Since my birthday fell on the day we normally webcast my talk show Jonny’s Par-tay, Scott and I decided to make my birthday the focal point of this week’s episode. The idea was that people could interview me about my life.

Unbeknownst to me, my wife, Matty, had contacted many of my video savvy friends to make birthday videos. Scott spliced them into the live show.

DC’s Social Media Swami, Shashi Bellamkonda called me from Florida, got ViceQueenMaria to sing me happy birthday, and pulled a bemused Guy Kawasaki over to send his best wishes.

Attending the Par-tay in person were Scott Stead, GerryT, Jill Foster, Julie Bohn, , Erik Lang, and my wife. So I had a nice mix of in-person, and interwebbed celebration.

Then I had the usual phone calls and emails from my “normal” friends and relatives. I like these too!

I know there are people I’m leaving out….like Bill Cammack who is always one of my biggest cheerleaders, Suki_MHC05, and KathrynJones. Just want to let you and everyone else know, I had a great birthday. Thanks for all the love folks. I’m sending it back at you.
