Although high school is all about being self centered, looking back on it, I realize I was surrounded by some pretty awesome people. I’m still in touch with a few of them, but since I moved far, far, from home when I got that piece of parchment, I lost touch with most. There are some that I do bump into online because they blog. One of these characters is Glenn Fleishman. We did not know each other particularly well in high school, but maybe twice a year I like to read his personal blog. I am struck by what a wry, observant, decent guy he is. Check out this sample post about his son who is suffering from an icky (but temporary) illness. Here’s to you Glenn.
