Vote: Alina will

September 23rd, 2008 · 4 Comments

Meet Alina. She became a US citizen one hour before I made this video. We bumped into each other at Barack Obama’s Philly office where she was registering to vote. Sometimes people who are born here don’t take their citizenship as seriously as people who make the effort to move here. There are a lot of ways to be a good citizen. One of them is engagement in the political process. Do your research, register to vote, and express your opinion on election day. Alina will.

    Hi Jonny,

Thanks for including me in your blog. I am indeed very excited to participate in these elections. Finally, and after more than 10 years living in the US paying my taxes and complying with other other obligations, I am able to have this right. My right to vote! And my right to vote for the Democratic Party and Obama, the right party and the right candidate!
