Just wound up the latest show with guest Comedian/YouTube star Mark Day. Here’s the archive:
Here’s the archive of Mark Day’s appearance on the show:
I emphatically enjoyed this one. A few notes:
1) Mark was a great guest, thoughtful, and interesting. Also, he got the word out to his fans, and a bunch of them showed. That’s […]

Come hear the inside scoop on YouTube from grumpy, talented, and hilarious Bay Area based comedian Mark Day on Jonny’s Par-tay, the live interactive internet video talkshow.
Mark is the 66th most subscribed to creator on YouTube, routinely garnering tens of thousands (sometimes hundreds of thousands) of views for his piercingly funny observations on […]

Egads. It’s a little scary to actually admit that there is something that I really want professionally. I have done a lot of things—I was a whitewater raft guide, counselor in a homeless shelter, director of a program in the Bronx where we taught 100 teens how to videoblog, video artist…I’ve done a lot of […]

This is footage of my Thesis presentation at ITP, where I demonstrated the PowerSuit, a set of technology embedded coveralls that allowed me to speak with beings from the future, by means of pressing and prodding different areas of the costume. This also features my narrated PowerPoint presentation in which I explain the […]

Slowly, like a slug on flypaper, newyorkhumor.com is oozing from my distracted mind into web reality. The site isn’t up yet, but I just created this video segment which shows the type of thing that will be on the site. This is an […]

Had a blast doing a quick set at the New York Comedy Club. My fellow performers rocked the mic. Nice work. And big thanks to Marc Maleh, Seth Appel, and their lovely companions Leslie and Tal for braving the frozen piss drizzling from the heavens on this nasty, nasty night to support […]

I warmed up the crowd with a little stand up. I got some good laughs and elicited some intense groans. We had great visuals, by Doctor Mojo. The band, The Creamsicles, rocked. And the people came out in force to support us. Thanks for everyone who showed up. I have a feeling we’ll back soon.

Did the Underground Lounge Monday night open mic. Great little room. I was the 15th of 16 comics. There were some great people. It was really cool watching how people develop new jokes. Most of the crowd knew each other already, so there was a lot of back and forth between the performers and audience. […]

Auditioned for a comedy event at Ripple Bar in Brooklyn, organized by Elon James White, a friendly comedian I met a little while back at Boudoir Bar . On the unfortunate side, I got there a little late, so I went late, which meant I had a smallish audience. On the fortunate side, since I […]
