Using a cardboard tube as a didgeridoo at the cardboard tube fighting league

September 4th, 2009 · Comments Off

Philly.com did this nice video feature about the Cardboard Tube Fighting League. I was pleasantly surprised that they opened it with footage of me using one of the tubes as a didgeridoo. It’s a fun watch, to see masses battling with cardboard tubes in front of the Philly Art Museum. Good times.

December 5th, 2008 · 10 Comments

(Jonny Goldstein doing his Evard Munch impersonation at the Reichstag) I just got back from a brief trip to Germany to visit a relative. Look, I’m Jewish, so it’s no shock that the German brand does not resonate totally positively for me. I had a kind of multi-pronged discomfort with brand Germany that I have […]

Post Series Fun and Chaos in South Philly

October 29th, 2008 · 2 Comments

Some snippets of chaos as I walked around South Philly and Broad Street after the Phillies triumph over the Rays in the 2008 World Series. Not caught on camera: right after the winning out, a sixty year old chain smoking lady lifted her shirt to show everyone in the bar her (quite well preserved) assets! […]
